It has Bluetooth but not sure if it uses a proprietary wifi transmitter when using it with PS4. Wouldn't be surprised if it's Bluetooth since it lags so bad and shuts off randomly

The Xbox one s controller has Bluetooth but MS uses their own wifi connector between the Xbox and the controller which is alot better

Yep, it is Bluetooth. You can connect it to a PC with practically any Bluetooth receiver. Then with an app like DS4Windows you can use it wirelessly.

That may be the reason why the battery doesn't lasts too long.

It is bluetooth. The PS4 wifi/bluetooth antenna is made to pick up bluetooth, ist has a certain geometry that only someone who know antenna EM physics could explain properly.
