My thoughts

I think I'll be picking up Tactics for the Vita then, I've been bitten by the bug of handheld turn based games since playing the Fire Emblem demo just recently! I also really like how there seem to be near constant sales going on over at PSN for the past few months!

Does anyone know if this a similar sale happens in the US?

Looks like one may have happened in early Feb last year?

May give that FF Tactics game a purchase. They appear to be one of the few FF properties out there that is universally loved. EDIT: Oh wait, it's portable only??? D'awww, I was getting excited then, too =/

@slag: I've had a look around and there's been no word either way as of yet, you guys did indeed get a sale last year but that's no guarantee of anything happening in the future!

@yummylee: Better get yourself a PSP/PSV/iPad then! The War of the Lions has only ever been released on portable systems. Beware that the technical performance of the game (as regards the frame rate) is anywhere from utterly shit to mildly sub par at some points, no matter which platform you play it on.

I really, realllllly wanna play through Tactics because I always hear the story is great, but man, I am simply terrible at that game!

Really wish this sale was going on in Canada. FF IV is the last FF I'm vaguely interested in. (Really only liked VII, IX, X, and XIII)

Own most of these. Random discs in an unorganized heap somewhere. Guess I'll add my favorites to my digital PSN library. Definitely have been waiting for a sale of FFVI. Might finally give XIII a go, to see what all the fuzz was about.

Edit: Oh wierd, FF XIII isn't in the sale, only XIII-2. Oh well... I guess I can do without it altogether.

Honestly though Tactics was the only one I wanted. I do want to try Dissidia out though but don't really know much about it. Also, how big is Dissidia 012? I want to buy it but have no room on my card... I wish PSN gave you exact sizes of games.

Maybe I should pick up XIII-2. I already have it on 360, but the damn thing died on me before I could play more than an hour... And at least €10 isn't the price of a new console. :/

Checked out some the reviews for the PSP remake of Final Fantasy IV. It's actually looking just like how I'd want such a thing to look. Having a similarly good reputation as FFVI, I'll have a stab at it. There go another 60 hours of my life. Eventually. Oh sales, you are the worst!

I bought War of the Lions a couple of weeks ago but I might as well buy it again so I can play it on my new Vita.

Last time I bought Phantom Brave instead of War of the Lions and now I get to own both. Sales are pretty great.

You're saving five dollars on Tactics? Fifty cents more if you've got Plus, yes, but it's half off even if you don't.

Well, the sale is actually really saving you $5.50 if you have PS+. PS+ very nearly always nets you an extra 10% discount on...discounts.

People should get Final Fantasy XIII-2 at that price! If you found the combat in XIII even mildly enjoyable then you need to give XIII-2 a go!

Well, this is annoying. For some reason FFIII isn't discounted on the EU store (I guess someone forgot or "forgot") and it's the only game from the original ten, apart from X, that I don't own on PSN. I guess Sony/Square don't want my money.
