    PlayStation Portable (PSP) is Sony's first entry into the handheld gaming market. The PSP also sports multimedia features including music and video playback, a photo viewer, and an online store. Several model revisions have been released: the PSP-2000, 3000, PSPgo and the PSP-E1000.

    PSP is probably my favorite system but...

    I've probably only actually played 3 psp games on it and everything else has been from emulators or homebrew. Can I really say it's my favorite gaming platform if I don't even play the games intended for it?

    First off Jack (can I call you jack? ima gonna call you Jack), I totally bought Loco Roco, Patapon, and Lumines (the three games I actually played). Secondly, the ps1 games I've loaded to my psp are games I've bought. Snes games, genisis games, those are kind of a moot point right now, no one's making money off of them anyway. So now back on topic - do the games justify the system? In the age of consoles becomming more and more like PCs and having more and more functionality perhaps games are no longer the selling point (they surely havn't been for sony). On the other hand if the functionality from the system doesn't actually come from the system developers themselves and does things it was never intended to do in the first place - can I really say I enjoy the platform?
    Any (relevant) thoughts?

    I think you can say you enjoy it. Lots of people use emulators for there iPhones.
