God, please make Crisis Core one of these.

PlayStation Portable (PSP) is Sony's first entry into the handheld gaming market. The PSP also sports multimedia features including music and video playback, a photo viewer, and an online store. Several model revisions have been released: the PSP-2000, 3000, PSPgo and the PSP-E1000.
Sony Premieres 'PSP Remasters' With Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Version
" Really, though, I'd rather play most of those games on my PS3 on a big ol' TV."There's no reason why people can't bitch about both. Most of the PSP's library mirrors a console game and would be better suited as a console game. There are very few titles on the PSP that break that mold and those titles alone aren't enough to justify owning the system.patrick, im sorry, but i really hate when people say this about PSP games. People bitch and moan about "The PSP has no games! why did i buy one!" then an awesome game like Peace Walker or BBS comes out, and then those comments die off and change into "That should be a PS3 game!" well, too bad people, choose one, either bitch about it being a psp game or make the psp have no games. you can whine about both
They had me at Monster Hunter. I liked that the save file will be swappable, means I can import my maxed out hunter and enjoy my kick ass armor and weapons in HD.
I'm actually pretty upset about this news. It means they've outright abandoned the PSP and games that are better suited to being portable (Monster Hunter) aren't getting English releases on the PSP now. If they announce at E3 that these games can work on the NGP too, fine. Otherwise, I won't be playing Freedom 3.
I've been playing MHP3rd for months now, its an awesome game, its cool to see them releasing it on the PS3, I would love to play it with my PS3 controller and use my sound system.
The only real downside to this news is that it means I will end up rebuying a bunch of PSP games I already own so I can play them in HD on my PS3.
So is this to say that Monster Hunter 3rd is coming to North America?
I've always wanted to try one but the controls for the PSP one that I tried (Freedom Unite I think?) were just too bad to be bothered with.
I'm playing Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together on my PSP currently. I'm also planning on getting a few Final Fantasies. What does this mean about my attitude towards the system? I'm simply confirming that most of the games that will be remastered in this series were not meant for PSP, nor do they interest me.
I'm not getting Monster Hunter because that's not what I want in a handheld game. I'm not getting Peace Walker because that's not what I want in a handheld game. I'm not getting God of War because, again, that's not what I nor most people want in a handheld game.
The PSP failed to meet expectations in North America because it was marketed as the console in your hands...you know, the one that's in your living room that also plays and looks better in your living room. It's been such a success in Japan because they have a whole slew of Japan-exclusive RPG's and other tailor-made games that simply work on the system.
I have owned a psp for 3 years now. There are only a handful of games that I can think that are worth porting over to the PS3.

Hmm..
Patapon 2 & 3.
Both God of War games.
MGS Peace Walker
Ys series would be nice.
Monster Hunter is already on the list so.. er... Gods Eater. (What the dumb name though. Bleh.)
Knights in the Nightmare would look nice HD.
A double pack of the Ace Combat games would be awesome.
Phantasy Star Portable 2.
Valkyria Chronicles 2.
Jeanne D'Ark
Crisis Core.
Dissidia Duo De... Duo Decom? Whatever.
Hell even that Final Fantasy 4 complete edition would be cool.
And I'd love to play DJ MAX on my Joystick.
Oh, and Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep. Totally awesome.
Not a terribly long list I just thought of but still, I'd be excited if any of these were PS3fied.
I can't agree with Crisis Core being something I'd like ported over. I tried reeeeally hard to like that game, but I just couldn't do it. Bad Square-Enix, very bad.
There are some fantastic PSP games out there id love to see on the PS3, as long as the price is right ill buy several of em'
