I pre-ordered it along with the 3DS a while ago so yes I'm getting a copy.

Nope. A stick of deodorant melted on top of my DS about a year ago so I don't have one any more. Even if I did though, I doubt I would pick this up. I don't like any of the new Pokemon they add to the series, and I'm just tired of the same game again and again and again. I'm waiting for them to actually add something meaningful to the series before I jump back in.

Wow that sucks about your DS =[ i was tthe same when diamond came out but i adore black/white, got it in japanese and despite having to follow a walkthrough, i think it's awesome =]

It got translated early, so I'm working through it now. I know... I'm a bad person, but I don't want to go to a store and buy pokemon anymore.

Haha fair enough, my partner preordered it in japanese as soon as he could and we then tried to find a rom or something for me but nothing we found worked =/ in the end bought it for like £27 so no complaints, plus english copy is again only costing me about £26 =] can't wait to know what's going on and the items i'm actually getting lol "

To be honest, looking at the game, it's very focused on it's online features and connectivity, and stuff like that. They put a lot of work into it, and it seems pretty complicated, but cool. I'll probably buy the english version just to get access to this, I don't really think I can get this rom to work online from North America. They basically made the pokewalker a website you load your pokemon onto, and you can find new pokemon that way as well, you battle them in a park once you import your pokemon back. That plus the wi-fi battles and trading seems pretty well integrated into the core experience.   Though I gotta say, this game's pretty awesome.. just got to the biggest city and wow. Pretty crazy.  "

Just checked the official HeartGold/SoulSilver site and it says March 6th is the last day.  Fair warning, there is music on the site.

Im thinking about it. I tryed to get into pearl but found it too similar. All new Pokemon and 3 on 3 battles have me intrested. Ultimately the decideing factor is how new it feels.

Pokemon Pearl left a bad impression on me. I think I'm done with pokemon.

Day one purchase for sure. Haven't decided which version yet, though. Probably just get the one my younger brother doesn't want.

I'll get it eventually. I've still got a sizable amount of Heart Gold to wrap up, and Dragon Age 2 is right around the corner.
