So someone pointed out to me that Pokemon Black is the only Pokemon came where you can pick a cotton Pokemon...thoughts?
My main point is that the "black people end up giving the cottonee to the "White" people in a trade, or at least I ended up doing.
Pokémon Black/White

Pokemon is now racist....
" As in Jumpluff? You could catch that in previous games. "Cottonee.
" Pokemon is racist period by association that it is a Japanese anime' thing. "All animé is racist after all.

Pokemon is zionist, Saudi Arabia says so.
Ya know...I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that these Japanese devs are likely not familiar enough with American history to know that a lot of the work that slaves had to do involved picking cotton.
pokemon has always been racist. you've always had to make the same decision with every iteration: which colour do i hate the least?
I thought Pokemon has pretty much always been seen as racist over people freaking out about Jynx a long time ago

...maybe you're right, I'm black and I want an afro having protagonist next game! ha

Yes there is:
Pokemon has not been kind to people of color. To be honest though, I think there's another gym leader that's not a blatant caricature and the one above had her apron removed and flung over her shoulder instead.
Edit: Oh no wait the other gym leader I was talking about is "a wild girl who likes to swing on vines and eat berries...She seems to be very hyper in occasions such as climbing up trees very quickly." so nevermind!
" @Belonpopo said:WOAH WOAH WOAH, WAIT JUST ONE SECOND. Not only does Pokemon Black contain cotton picking pokemon it also allows the trading of such a pokemon?!?" So someone pointed out to me that Pokemon Black is the only Pokemon came where you can pick a cotton Pokemon...thoughts? "Untrue. You can trade for one in White from an NPC. "
OUR CHILDREN ARE BEING TAUGHT THE SLAVE TRADE WAS OK
" Someone inform Fox News ASAP. "They're lining up an interview with Geoff Keighley as we speak.

There's also Marshal, in the Elite Four.
(mild spoilers, I guess).
To be fair though, it's a Japanese game and most of these things that come off as "racist" are due to cultural differences.
The meaning of the names 'Black & White' are very apparent to anyone who's played them. The jokes about racism were old after the first few weeks the game was first announced and if anyone is actually seriously implying it, then I really pity them.
Pokemon White is the only way I roll. I don't want that filthy trash version of the game.
Seriously though, I have not bought it yet. I am kinda torn. I heard there is an awesome looking town in Black, but the main pokemon on White looks the coolest... gah, dunno which to pick!?!?
