Lets Go Gekiganger Sreeeeeeeeeee Also Brock is the salvation of the series. If we can't pick "Brock" archetype in the pokemon MMO it will be a failure.

i.e pokemon theme song tells kids that they wont be the very best if they don't catch all the good Pokemon, which can lead to trade whoring and boycotting of Metapods
Am I gonna get bludgeoned to death if I actually say that I think the series gets too much flack and that Diamond and Pearl were good games? People complain about the repetitivity of Pokemon who wouldn't dare do it about any other franchises, to say that Final Fantasy was repetitive would be blasphemy. I know it's all opinions but just think aboiut it for a minute.

Its called you grew up. We all liked it at one point since it was all about collecting little criters that we make fight each other for our own amusement. Even if I where to go back, I would only probably play the primary colors versions since that was what i grew up with. Whatever the new ones are just don't cut it, IMO.
Yes. Even tho I have played all of them since Yellow, you can see that everytime they make new creatures they tend to get stupid as hell. The gameplay has basically never changed. When playing Diamond, I said to myself a couple of times "dude, I totally did this in 1999" And then stopped playing after getting all the badges. Didn't even bother to lvl up to 100 all my party pokemon like I did with previous games. Shame, really.
I have played every generation and am not burnt out on the series yet. Even though the core gameplay hasn't changed much, they add a whole bunch of new stuff every time a new game comes out. I think it has something to do with the fact that I didn't play the hell out of each game though.
