PONGIS

PONGIS is an ultra-simple and fun ball game that runs in mobile and desktop browsers.

Players can pick to play with a team of their choice. They can pick any English, Spanish, German, Italian, French, or Portuguese team. There are also 25 country teams for people to play their own little World Cup. Each team's strength is determined by their real-time performance in the real world.

With every match players earn Pongicoins. They get 1 Pongicoin for each goal, 3 Pongicoins for match victories, 1 Pongicoin for draws, and 1 additional Pongicoin for each completed match. Pongicoins can be used to play with higher-ranking teams.

PONGIS can be played in Cute Kitten mode, Zen mode, and Vintage mode (the latter is available on desktop only).

Players can also earn badges for played matches, victories, and goals.

Mobile controls:

Tapping on the screen makes the player's Pongi go to any spot on the pitch. Double tapping makes the Pongi run faster. Players can also swipe to move – the Pongi will go wherever they place their finger on the screen.

Desktop controls:

The cursor keys to control the player when playing against the AI. Up key is for speed, right and left keys to turn. When playing against a human opponent, A, W, D control the player on the left and the cursor keys the player on the right.

Players can also use keyboard shortcuts to select random opponents from the Champions League (C), Europa League (E), the World Cup (W), the English Premier League (P), the Spanish La Liga (L), and the German Bundesliga (B).

The SPACE bar can be used to pause and resume a match at any point, to skip goal celebrations and replay, and to start games.
