I think the people who would use it aren't the people who frequent the website, but the people who casually watch Quick Looks or listen to the Bombcast. Those people don't even know that the list exists unless they went searching for it.

The people who are harassing others are doing it for attention, they'd be doing that regardless of the issue they're arguing about. Writing or taking a side is exactly what they want. All you would be doing is putting more wood on the fire. Eventually everyone will just move on to the next dumb crusade and this whole thing will be forgotten. If people keep arguing for either side all they're doing is extending how much longer it will be around.
