Wheat bread bun.  Interesting.

You should just make your own burgers.. most restaurants charge way too much.  Fast food charges pretty close to what you would pay to make your own, but restaurants >_>

Especially if you consider that you'll have to tip and buy a drink from them."
The best burger is the one you make yourself. If you buy the right kind of meat, and cook it the way you want thats the best way to go. As long as you know how its being made its always healthier than what you get in any restaurant or fast food chain. But I do prefer restaurant burgers to Mcdonalds or Burger king.  Bigger pieces of meat.

I whole heartedly agree to this. The best burger is indeed homemade. Food Network had a great recipe for the best homemade burger on Alton Brown's show, Good Eats.
I kind of modded it a bit to make the best burger.
Mine starts off with 70/30 chuck. Yeah there is a little ratio number on the label for the meat that indicates the proportion of lean to fatty meat in the ground beef. For a good juicy burger you want 70/30. If you are worried about a future heart attack (one too many baconators, etc), try 90/10 or 97/3. Some people mix diced onions into the ground beef mix, but I just pretty much ball it up and make the patties. Use fresh lettuce, the grainy kind of mustard, mayo, etc.

Oh and when you are grilling the patties, DO NOT SQUISH OR MASH THEM DOWN with the spatula. All this does is press all of the juices and moisture out of your patties. It ruins them
and leaves them dry and lifeless. Gross.

As for the buns I love the french roll burger buns witht he hard crust you can get at Publix, iightly toasted. Yum.
