Its with great sadness I say goodbye to my blogging home for as long as I can remember. The website was bought along with all the IGN properties were bought this month by Ziff Davis. For those of you who do not know, Ziff Davis is the CEO of a group that owns and runs "askmen.com" an interesting place, that seams to cater to egocentric wealthy guys, jocks and what not...essentially the polar opposite of what game and geek culture really is. With that transaction complete, I have decided that with the closing of 1up.com it was time to venture out and find a new home where I can be among the geeky, dorky and nerdy people who are a part of the culture that is the gaming culture.

With that, and with some discussion I have seen people start to make their way here and to a few other places. I am hopeful that those of you who have called this place home for quite a while will accept me into your community, and those of you who moved here from 1up, well I will be glad to see some familiar faces again.
