First simracing expierence ever

I bought this brand new Logitech G27 wheel and took a spin on GTR2 with the BMW Z3.wow that was hard core, the car which was pretty tame on keyboard had become a raging monster and I was unable to control it. after some laps it feels more comfortable and I really liked that sensation.Unfortunately lack of a good rig (underpowered laptop, tiny screen and lack of a good chair) I could not play it yet and the thing is gathering dust.....so looking forward to buy at least a good monitor and chair.

and besides it is my first blog post in GB..

ooo, it's always a good experience with a racing sim.

my first one was forza 2. i think it's probably the best one out of them all. 4 feels different that it's easier or something.

i have gran turismo 5 with a racing wheel. it's actually pretty fun and hard at the same time. i'm pretty lazing moving the wheel and table and chair to play it with a wheel.

i bought a fold away table purely to mount my logiteck Driving Force GT. having a solid platform to mount it on is essential.

i mostly play F1 2010/2011 as im a massive F1 fan and im lucky enough to of been able to afford a rig good enough to run it at 1080p/60fps everything maxed out DX11 on my 46" Samsung LCD.

its sublimely good. i race against a few friends regularly either racing or against TT ghosts. i fucking LOVE!! it.

we usually put down times on the circuit of the weekends race so this weekend we're on Interlagos as its the Brazilian Grand Prix this weekend and its arguably my fav track in the world.

GT5 is really great too and with a wheel goes from being just a good racer to a amazing racer imo.

so contrary to what was said on the bombcast 'DO BUY A RACING WHEEL'*

*as long as you have a suitable surface to mount it.
