Shame they only really looked at the goofy stuff from Hypnospace for best music.. a lot of the ambient stuff is pretty amazing and really worth listening to. It fits perfectly in the game also. I feel like outer wilds music was pretty basic but well crafted into the game.. I dunno personally I think if the music does both of fitting into the game well and is good beyond the game its way more important, hard not to think the crew was more attached to the music through association with liking the game rather than having the music make them like the game more. I supposes that's just like my opinion man.

Oddly "trials of mana" was my first mana game.. I was in middle school when the fan translation was online I think and played through the full game on a PC keyboard multiple times. Maybe it is nostalgia speaking but I would but it in top 3 snes games probably at 1. It's just a stupid good game.

Interesting look at it.. been watching some "pro"-ish streams of it and it looks fun in that context. Jeff and Ben definitely make the game look not very fun. I feel like this is really not a game you can mash or just throw out heave slash once you are playing people who know what they are doing and I kinda disagree with the idea that it would be a good hand it to people who don't play fighting games because the core (interesting part of it) is the stuff that people seem to most often have the hardest part grasping as they obsess over if they can do the inputs for a combo rather than learning to space and the more mind game side of things. I guess there are no big combos to learn but also no randomly mash out a combo also. I dunno it seems interesting, curious to see how it will shape up once people have had some more time competitively.

Really cool but I feel like if they are doing something like this they kind of should give people a way to monetize what they make or export.. I mean all the tools in unreal/unity are getting easier everyday and gives people even more freedom. MM does make it super approachable so that is a big help I believe, I remember hearing early on that you could PC files off of your sculptures, if that also included there rigging system it would probably become a super easy to recommend tool for anyone doing 3d as an indie dev. Not even sure if that export is still a thing though as they said it so long ago.

Is it just me or do the characters shoes look weirdly large in this game?

Huh.. they don't even try to jump into an online match, I also have heard the online on the steam version is decent at least similar to fightcade. Still on the fence about it but would be curious to what platform jeff was playing online with at home.

As someone who works at farmers markets in the bay area its actually the law that we have to put "we grow what we sell on are signs" or some format of that. So yea that why they all say that.

@jdp83: yea I definitely fell you on some of those grips, I've probably played through the first game about 20times and still when I go back to it I get stuck wandering around trying to remember where the next boss spawns so I feel like that aspect for better or worse has always been in it.. the combat in the old game was mindless but fun, once you get moves the combat in this one is actually really good I agree you should start with a bit more.. a running punch and kick and attacks for front and back grabs, grabs also maybe should have a better recovery when you miss as often its you missing a pick up or trying to pick up a guy that just died. I have yet to beat it but as much as the first is a classic to just bulldoze through I think even with its faults this game is better and I expect it to get patch and improve over the coming months. the police thing only happens if someone reports you I think as you can punch the parking meters with no one around and just get money with no risk, it is annoying that you can't just run for a bit to avoid the police but it usually takes me punching a civilian about 3 times before I get in trouble.
