A newly made horror classic 0

Dead Space is an amazing new IP from EA.  The third person view from the right takes a little getting use to, but once you do, it feels just right.  The necromorphs are a legitimately menacing enemy, and there are moments in the game when I was actually scared while fighting them off, or just plain running away from them.  The environment is beautiful and creepy, and a picturesque scifi setting.  I found the plot to be intriquing, and I was sad when the game ended, because I wanted some more nec...

A unique but flawed game 0

Dark Sector isn't a great game, but it's not a bad game either.  Its one of those games that's worth picking up if it's cheap.  The game relies on the single mechanic of throwing a glaive.  The game introduces a few unique abilities along the way, but personally, I was always left wanting for more cool powers and abilities.  Using the guns felt necessary at points, and this annoyed me, because I really was hoping the glaive could be the end-all weapon in the game.  Despite the glaive being the m...

Pure Destruction and Bliss 0

This game appeals to the desire of destroying absolutely everything.  The story is so-so, but the physics and fun more than make up for it.  You can go through with your hammer and slam down buildings, or you can carefully place charges and move hydrogen tanks to maximize death and destruction.  Sometimes it feels like its very easy to die, but the save system and checkpoint system mean you don't have to do everything over again.  The salvage system offers very nice options for upgrading you and...
