Not as good as the PC version, but still a great game 0

Half-Life 2, now this was a gamechanger when it came out for PC 10 years ago. This is one of the greatest FPS of all time, hands down. I don't think too many would argue that. But the Xbox version, for me, felt slightly inferior to it's PC counterpart. For one, obviously, the graphics had to be toned down a little. But they still looked great, don't get me wrong. Using the Xbox controller to play kind of felt a little weird as well. Sometimes feeling like you're running on ice when moving aroun...

A decent edition to the FPS franchise with dinos 0

Turok: Evolution isn't the greatest FPS of all time, but it had it's unique moments. Throughout the game you'll obtain pretty much a whole armory's worth of weapons to use against your enemies. It plays similar to old school FPS's from the 90's (which I love). I lost track of the story most of the time to be quite honest. It's not very story driven at all, but that's not always a bad thing. The gameplay itself isn't too bad. Platforming can be a pain because sometimes it feels as if your charac...

Slightly inferior to it's PS2 counterpart 0

Silent Hill 2: Restless Dreams is still the same iconic game that was released on the PS2. The only things different about it are an extra ending, the side story "Born From a Wish", slightly improved graphics and lighting, and an extra weapon or 2 (I think). The only major negative I could really find was that the textures in some areas of the game would pop in and out and would sometimes get switched with textures of other things (at least that happened for me). Other than that you have the sa...

This game used to terrify me as a child 0

Silent Hill 2, one of the most iconic survival horror games of all time. In my opinion, this game still holds up very well today. The graphics were and still are amazing. The sounds, lighting and atmosphere are brilliantly eerie in nature. The controls can be slightly clunky at times and the voice acting could've been better. The puzzles are fairly well done with the option to raise or lower their difficulty when starting a new game. The story is very well written and if you look online after co...

One of the best RPG's on the Xbox 0

If you're looking for a great RPG for the original Xbox then look no further than Jade Empire. From the makers of Knights of the Old Republic, Mass Effect and Dragon Age comes an RPG set in an ancient China styled fictional kingdom. You can play as up to 6 different characters, (7 if you get the limited edition version). The gameplay is very similar to the other franchises made by BioWare. Choose your own path of good or evil, complete quests and level up. The combat is free form allowing you to...
