Bought Modern Warfare a while back and was never able to get it to run. When I first bought it, it would crash after a couple seconds in game with no error message. At this point, I took the suggested action of Blizzard/Activision to work with Activision to troubleshoot the game. Send a ticket, it took them two weeks to respond, then sent a response with the info they asked for, which took them another to weeks to respond. At that point, they could not suggest a fix, and told me to get a refund from Blizzard. I'm also getting an error message by this time saying that my OS is incompatible with the game. I play on an enterprise machine so I can't change the OS. Anyway, I contact Blizzard for a refund as Activision suggested, and they keep coming back with the same canned line that all their sales are final, and also too much time has elapsed.
Is there anything I can do to get a refund from this company when I cannot run their game, and their own tech support response time/return policy prevents me from requesting a return until after too much time has elapsed.
