That looks like what I want this game to be. On PSN you can pre-order and has a release date for 3/31/2015. I wonder if that is just a wishful placeholder or if they're actually shooting for that day?
I had my Chrome (Version 35.0.1916.114 m) browser window set to fill up half of my screen (2560x1440) and then when I shrunk my browser window and everything resized properly but then it got to a point when the chat stopped resizing and cut itself off. A side-scrolling option on the browser did not show up so I cannot select or see the chat/reply options on the right. Hopefully this screenshot will explain this issue better than my explanation.
I'm not sure if this is a browser issue or a chat issue, just thought I'd bring it up.
I'm just curious what you all are using in Mario Kart 8, the joystick or the d-pad? My first instinct was to use the d-pad (currently on the GamePad) but then I tried a race with the joystick and it just didn't feel right.
Some of my favorite moments in gaming (aside from playing the actual games) have been waiting in line for a couple hours for midnight to strike on a new game. One moment that will stay with me forever is waiting with some friends for Halo 3 at GameStop. There was a line of a couple hundred people outside of the store, some crowded around some TVs playing Halo 2 that they hooked up through their vehicles, most just chatting amongst ourselves. Then, without any warning, the sprinkler system kicks in and 75% of the people are standing in awe and get soaked. And to make things better two guys dropped their brand new iPhones just before the sprinklers kicked in and they got extra pissed. Today, I can't even imagine what would be considered an epic pre-order or game buying experience from the couch. But the convenience of digital media now-a-days is amazing, and as I creep towards being 30 and am getting rid of a lot of physical media, I love the digital age.
I was listening to the Bombcast and checked Twitter just when Vinny, Patrick, and Alex were talking about this and I got confused. Then I heard Vinny talk about it and it made sense. For some reason I'm worried but yet very excited at what's to come. I wonder how the Bombcast will work. Will it just be SF-based? Will it become an awkward Skype podcast with everyone? There's a lot of questions but the answers, I'm sure, will be positive and great.
I've noticed a lot recently when playing a video the amount of time the player says the video is will be wrong. And occasionally going from fullscreen back to browser will mess up the time, once I had a video say it's been approximately 9334:20 / 1:00:20.
