I finally finally managed to get a half playable game put together using scratch (https://scratch.mit.edu/), I'd always wanted to play with something game makey but always put it off for one reason or another. Its pretty simplistic but its got a front page and a game over screen and everything! If anyone fancy's playing its here https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/92916218/
I'd fully recommend anyone having a go with their system, I've heard it's very similar to how stencyl approaches game design but I think it'll be a while till I'm using anything that fancy :)
Sounds good to me! The longer time limit makes a lot of sense to get people involved. If you need a hand organising it just let me know and maybe I'll even try and make one myself.
Hello! This weekend I'm home alone as my girlfriend is away on holiday, I plan to try and take advantage of my new found (and temporary freedom) to try and finally get a Vault of Glass raid going. I realise there is a bunch of LFG sites out there but it'd be great to play with some of the GB community. I'm a lvl 28 hunter on ps3 playing from the UK. If there are any like minded last generation destinyers (if that's even a word...) then give me a shout and we'll give it a go.
As much as I admire their attempt to innovate with the gamepad, I don't think it's been used to great effect yet. The idea of a cheap 'Super Wii' is pretty appealing as it's essentially a HD Wii. Which solves one of the biggest problems with the original, and there are enough decent games out for the Wii U that the idea of a cheaper option is very appealing.
Saying that I'll probably buy a Wii U this winter anyway...
