Watching Alex play, it's good to realize, with all those hours of multiplayer I did, that I knows my Mass Effect at this point and can say that Alex plays some trash Mass Effect.
That moment when you realize Jennifer Hale and Mark Meer are layered into the voice on that stupid star kid.
I still hate the synthesis ending. I'm completely ride or die on destruction. Kill all those synthetics and let god sort 'em out.
Some of the names in those credits. I forgot about "Evil" Chris Priestly. I forgot about back when it was worth it for Bioware to interact with the community at all, back before Twitter.
Ooh, and I spotted Munveer! Honestly, it's kinda hard to imagine him working at that era of Bioware.
The one thing that will never baffle me more is the idea that people somehow crunched imaginary numbers and ran with the assumption that the destruction of the mass relays would lead to everyone dying out or something.
Mass Effect as a series has never bothered with such granularity in its soft science and to suddenly do so for the ending in particular I think is just absurd
Fam, these were the people who went at length into wondering what Tali smelled like. Bioware fans circa 2012 had way too much time on their hands and no sense or reason.
"Watch St. Vincent Play ‘Fortnite’ With YouTuber Abby Russell"
NO! NOT LIKE THIS!
Right? Rolling Stone calls her a Youtuber along with "YouTube’s Giant Bomb channel", which is honestly just mean. Stereogum went with "gamer/comedian" and, like, yeah, she does have a history in comedic theater but they're really bending over backwards to try and cast her as some flavor of lowly video game streamer.
People, it's not that hard. Répétez après moi: "Abby Russell, video producer at gaming news site Giant Bomb." You're news reporters for Christ's sake! I get it, you want to keep your egos lofty and refuse to consider that the woman playing Fortnite with St. Vincent and getting a paycheck from it works for *GASP* a legitimate news site--I say to the, you know, also small audience esoteric music journalism field. Too bad! You still have to follow the AP Style Guide enough to get her occupation right.
Bioware learned a tragic lesson of early 10s video games. Being voiced by Troy Baker doesn't make your character cool.
Eezo love.
Ah yes, the great Salarian funk single, Eezo Love.
And as a Mass Effect multiplayer man, I hate it so much how Alex ignores a halfway decent weapon build. Then again, what can you expect from someone who rolled a Sentinel? A class where who the hell would think to carry three weapons?
... And he still never learned to mailslot a Guardian!
@farside0013: Jesus Christ, you're right! On top of how delicate and natural it is, I didn't even think you could speak that quietly in video games. That's a beautiful delivery.
