Thanks for not doing this in place of a UPF. Great change.

@bloody_skirmish: It's because in comparison to other 3rd person games - uncharted (and TLoU) have never had as good shooting mechanics as its peers - that's not to say they're not amazing games that do amazing things, but, especially on hardest difficulties, it feels like the mechanics are working against you which, combined with the low health etc, doesn't make for a fun time.

Well I don't know what games you've been playing, but I'd take the third person shooting in Uncharted over those "other third person games" any day of the week. I rathchet up the difficulty as much as possible, flip around, jump from place to place, blindfire, snipe, throw timed grenades to panic the enemy and cover my exit out of cover, and overall have a blast. I love the agility and mechanics in these games, and will take them over wearing a car, and being able to roll once every second and a half.

I never understood people that don't understand the shooting in these games. They're extremely fun. Flipping around, running while tossing a grenade behind you, the verticality... I just wonder if there's mechanics Brad had no idea he could do. Running from cover to cover while rolling and shotgunning a guy (not using fine aim mode), blindfiring a looming shotgun wielder from behind cover, satisfying head shots... these games are a blast to fight in, and whenever I hear them say "Yeah, I didn't really go to Uncharted for the shooting.." I wish I could retort "Well you're not too bright then". Oh well.

I am not cool with a future in video games where characters look and get all sweaty. It's extremely icky.

Well, given that Dan said he beat the game, I hoped he'd take this seriously and do his best. This series was an interesting idea.

MGSV is a masterpiece. A great open world game that puts other such games to shame. And it's also the most fun I've had with MGS at any time. Now if the story is holding you back from saying it's a master MGS game, I'll grant you that. But for those of us more concerned with the game part of games, it is a masterpiece. Absolutely terrific game.

Jason, I appreciate the thought, but the music during Nidhogg really isn't necessary. If you're going to play music, play it during a boring, inactive game everyone is just watching like Undertale.

Please never do it again for any reason.
