I got one from Amazon in June on a whim. I was just browsing, saw they were in stock and grabbed one. This is in the UK mind you, where there's less demand. Series S' seem to be freely available in shops here.
Battle Engine Aquila on the original Xbox. A mech/flying shooter hybrid, as in your vehicle is both a mech walker, and an aircraft. The easiest way to describe it is that it's like an AI vs AI RTS game, with you controlling one unit. Missions are generally large scale battles around islands, with some generic objectives like kill this thing, protect that thing etc., but there are some variations as you get further in - some being a little frustratingly RNG reliant on how long your comrades survive, but it never diminishes the enjoyment of the core shooting mechanics. Landing on an enemy mid-air, changing into your walker mode, shooting the shit out of them, and then flying off into the sunset never gets old. Sadly, its not supported via backwards compatibility (much to my annoyance when I tried it on my Series X), but it is on Steam.
Yeah all my Xbox games are physical. To be honest, most of them probably aren't even playable on the newer consoles, and my OG box and 360 still work fine, so I'm not in any rush to get a series X.
@reap3r160: my framerate has taken a hit too. Pre 1.2 I could max everything, but with RTX and DLSS off, and get a consistent 60fps. Now I'm averaging around 40fps unless I go out into the wastelands. This is with a Ryzen 3600, and 2080 super at 1440p. I can stick DLSS on quality and it'll pretty much double the fps, but I'm not a big fan of how it looks with it on.
On positive note, the driving has definitely improved. There's a much more noticeable difference in how different cars handle, especially the faster ones. It's nice to be able to punch it around corners without fear of oversteering into walls and pedestrians. I can't say I've noticed much difference in the bikes mind you, but I haven't used them much recently.
