That's what I said. My point is that I think people thought that meant sony's VR would be too expensive to compete in the VR market, but seeing as oculus has a high price point, it might make them more competitive as a side effect. I think it might actually be a good thing oculus is this much money.
Didn't sony say theirs would be priced like a console? I recall people thinking that meant it would be too expensive, but maybe this move equalizes the playing field a little more. Also, it requires 4 USB ports?!
This series really makes me appreciate the wide range of people who watch Giant Bomb stuff. I am all for letting them goof around on their own, but I like that there are several people just spitting straight science in the comments.
I mean, in most contexts I would agree, but GOTY stuff seems to be GB taking things as seriously as they ever do, and for Dan to slip in to that heel/purposefully antagonistic schtick felt out of place. Obviously not a huge deal, but if I was planning on having an actual discussion about why I liked something, and someone did that to me I would be pissed.
Dan has acknowledged it before as a possible problem for himself, but he needs to watch himself from slipping in to full blow heel mode. When he brought up cutting Ori (which I didn't play and have no opinion on one way or another) it was kind of jarring and honestly a bit of a bummer for him to slip in to that character.

As a side note does it seem that Jeff is shutting down alot more of the other's opinions than in the past. Maybe it's just me. This is me picking up on this even though I agree with most of his choices.
I did notice this a bit. For me, I think it might just be that his attitude is now kind of in contrast to the sort of vibe GBeast is developing for themselves. Especially since the addition of Austin, I feel like the three of them focus way more on reasoned discussion and nuance. I think Jeff is continuing the tradition of just loudly stating an opinion ("That did NOTHING for me!") and not necessarily backing it up in the moment. I don't know that that is necessarily a bad thing, but just highlights the diverging styles of the two groups.
