My Favorite Games Timeline.

These are my favorite games in order I remember playing them.

List items

  • As close to perfect as I have seen in a game. The looks and story were there with the first game but this second game improved on almost every gripe I had with the first. The combat and inventory were completely overhauled making this the pinnacle of Western RPG's.

  • I'm glad I'm no longer with World of Warcraft. I still think about her from time to time on lonely nights, but I think its better we went our separate ways.

  • Never mind that this was the best value in gaming history. Portal and Half Life 2 were intelligent games with undoubted quality. TF2 was loads of fun on the console I just wish they would give it some update and patch love to the console verson. Comon' Valve I'll even pay, I don't mind.

  • I remember putting the disk in and starting to play at my friends house. When we stopped playing we were going to go out for some midnight tacos. But it had snowed 7 inches. That is what I call a great game, and it was the first must have for 360.

  • The one that brought it all together. I used to play this every Sunday in college while watching the NFL games on my other roommates TV's. This was when the hit stick was invented and franchise mode got the draft.

  • Long nights of endurance races fueled by bush light and crown royal.

  • Vehicles, co-op, best multi-player on a console at that time, the music, voice acting and excellent AI. The list is huge of why this game was the greatest of its time.

  • The rebirth of the arcade and the growth of rhythm based games. Who knows if games like guitar hero or even motion games like the wii would have came out if this game didn't rise to popularity. So when your playing Rockband this Friday night at 2:30 in the morning take a shot for DDR the rhythm game OG.

  • Nuff said.

  • My reward for being the only kid on my block with a Dreamcast. Don't get me wrong that was a great system, but this was the best game on it. I have played this on the GC and wii since. This beats out all of those great final fantasy games that came out for the PS1 as my favorite JRPG.

  • Of all the weird shit that Japan gives us I gotta say Pokemon is one of my favorites.

  • Ocarina of Time showed people how great and epic games could be. Playing this game is almost a rite of passage for any gamer. Glad to hear a handheld version is coming out to keep the tradition going hopefully.

  • I didn't have a system until I was 13 years old and this was the first game I remember playing on that system. It was love at first mushroom.

  • Original Game Boy game I still remember the countless hours of joy and communist music that I experienced.
