They used my user name as the title. Interesting. Are they telling me it's a mess and I need to fix it?

As a Lakers fan I'm mad that they dishonor the legendary Chick Hern.

As a Giant Bomb fan it's a funny bit. Who can be mad at Vinny and Dan? Only monsters.

Oh man, I was like, "That's Chick Hern, not some douchie news anchor! C'mon!"

I don't know if I can watch these anymore. They're not actually progressing with knowledge, it almost feels like they're regressing at times. I know the fun is to just try it and see what happens, but watching them try to line up orbits and pass up SO MANY good intersections and not really understand what they're doing is just rough. Maybe they just need to do a little more learning before attempting. I know when I did my first rescue missions I watched a lot of Scott manley before hand, but it is still nerve wrecking and hard, but at least I understood what I needed to do. And there's so much propellant in that EVA suit, just get out there and fly around.

I'm now just skipping around the video and watching the close call parts because matching orbits and all that was just draining.

Someone complaining about energy actually being present in a UPF for once kind of blows my mind.

People complaining about ANY UPF blows my mind. Hey folks, guess what -- Unprofessional Fridays exists as a way for the GB crew to unwind and not have to worry about schedules, appointments, or office work before the weekend. It's a way for them to hang out and chill at work, and frankly, EVERY workplace would be better if they included something similar. That we're invited along as an audience is a treat, and if you don't like a particular episode, just pass on the one that bothers you and come back next week.

"Uh what... I don't really watch these too religiously anymore since they've gotten pretty boring but this is PAID content and it's supposed to be entertaining. It's not a privilege to "hang" with the guys online, you're paying them to do this so you should expect more."

Agreed, now that I think about it. I haven't watched a full UPF in like 2 months now. They have become plodding boring videos that feel like something that just needs to get out of the way at the end of the week so the staff can go celebrate the weekend.

And yes, YES, this is *PAID* content. People *PAY* for this and people absolutely have the right to ask or demand a change of some sort to make these fun again. People should *totally* expect more than just the "urghahahha almost weekend, lts play some games, dunno bluuurrrhhhppp" slouch fests these have become.

Yes you are a paying consumer, but that doesn't give you or anyone else the right to dictate on how the GB crew should run their videos. It's the same terrible attitude and entitlement that people who give money to kickstarters have. If you find any type of media you consume to be not enjoyable, you have the right to complain, you have the right to stop consuming and paying for the product (which clearly you should be doing), BUT it does not give you the right to demand on how things should be run. You are not the creator, director, writer etc. You are the audience, nothing more. Your say begins and ends with the enjoyment (or not) of these video.

Absolutely this ^^^^. Don't like, vote with your wallet. Stop whining. I find these videos entertaining, so am I wrong? Putting money into anything doesn't give you any power over how it's used. That's why you become an actual shareholder in a company for, so you can dictate the path of a busniess, not for whining about UPF or Kickstarter.

So I bought Kerbal because of watching this series and the original quick look. It looked fun to try out for myself. Now that I've been to Mun and Minmus and back and learned a lot about space travel, watching this hurts. All the mistakes they make that are so easily correctable. Even things like using hotkeys or the interface properly are making this hard to watch now.

SCOTT MANLEY is your GOD! Go respect him now!
