Scariest individual section of any game: Ravenholm.
I'm guessing I'd be saying Amnesia if I'd actually played it myself. Watched Day[9] play it and laughed at him screaming (like a marine) instead http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5fmpMPnzd8
Bust a Move 2 on the Playstation. Picked it up cheap because it had Bub and Bob (my brothers and I played way too much Bubble Bobble on the C64), but had no idea if it was any good.
Fantastic, I've been scanning through those 40 hour long VODs to find the runs I missed but wanted to watch xD
I proudly donated to Project Yoshi Gerstmann. I didn't find Thousand Year Door great viewing because there's so much dialogue slowing it down (really fun game to play, though).
I particularly enjoyed:
Half Life 2. Very informative commentary, and absolutely crazy jumping techniques that look super impressive. The way that you get NPCs to move faster is hilarious.
Mega Man X and X2 races. X was two player, X2 was four player. Shirtlessness was involved.
And last, but definitely not least - not so much of a speedrun because they included all cutscenes: Metal Wolf Chaos. One of the funniest things I've seen in a long time. I didn't realise I could love FromSoftware any more than I already did.
Going to answer this as a memory exercise, because I'm buggered if I have a clue off the top of my head.
From most recent backwards:
Super Metroid
Mega Man X
Halo 3 (only one of the main series I hadn't got around to)
The Witcher 2
Shadowrun Returns
Transistor
Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest
Castlevania
Borderlands 2
FTL: Advanced Edition (easy, normal, and unlocked everything but that pesky Crystal Cruiser. Damn RNG.)
Dark Souls II (standard NG x 2, NG+ x 2, NG full Company of Champions playthrough fists only - no shields, magic or ranged)
Skyrim (replay, mostly for DLC)
Shadow Complex
Castlevania Symphony of the Night
Bastion (replay)
Dark Souls (replay - no shield/armour/magic/ranged)
Papers Please
Assassin's Creed 4
Spelunky (Olmec + City of Gold, but not Yama. Got bored before I got that far)
Volgarr the Viking
So 20 different games, though I've probably forgotten some. I've probably put about as much time into Dark Souls II as most of the rest put together - was so excited for it, and it was everything I hoped for and more.
Played Castlevania 1 & 2 for the first time after watching VinnyVania. Simon's Quest is broken and dumb, and I can't believe how much I love it.
