"And when the dogs do find her...   got time, time,  wait for tomorrow    to find it..."   If you ask anyone what song those lyrics belong to, I feel at least 8 out 10 people could tell you.    This song and of course Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana summerize the Grunge genre.    STP is grunge revisited even today.

We have all seen the good and bad of multiplayer lobbies across all game genre and honestly over the last few months players have become increasingly (putting it nicly) impatient.   Host and players alike are kicking or telling each other off because  game settings weren't set excatly the way they wanted.   Which in the end leads to poor game play.
An exsample, recently playing the new Hydro Thunder boat racing game.... A very fast paced game allowing 8 online racers to join via pregame lobby.  When no friends are playing and I'm looking to get my gam on I will play by selecting a "Quick Match"  which in turn searches out a lobby to join, upon entering the lobby these things happen to me......
kicked, host quits, host sits while all other players are ready for extended period of time, insults from other players, players leave and reenter many times, once in game host quits (ending game for all), once in game players all leave and occasionally    a fun game with good players.     I do solve some of the problems by hosting a game myself but it still leaves players impatience upon the lobby and game.
Its not just this game, L4D 1 and 2 , Gears, MW2 are all, at times, horrible lobbies and I'm sure you can name several others.
I fully understand and partially willing to put up with pregame lobby garbage in hopes of finding a good game, but should I have too?
Should there be pregame lobby game etiquette? More so a written (not unspoken) rules?  Then enforced somehow?
How do you feel about pregame lobbies? Are my feelings on this subjecy way off?

I had completed a few mission quests but proceded to continue the story.  Honestly the creatures in this area were kicking me down.  I beat  a few, but any odd combonation of creatures usallly sent me to game over.  Of course, after the story was finished I returned and now kick them all over the place.  Also, easily get the 5star rating for the first few MISSION quest.  I believe a 5star rating for all 60+ missions is an achievment.....  for which I plan to complete by X-mas of 2012.

The amount of life I've spent on Oblivion (and DLC).  I had actually elected to not finish the main story line until all dungeons and side quests had been explored and looted.  I believe my character is level 44 or 46 with 300+ hours easy.   I will look for a clock on that game later to be sure myself!!    I always think, hmm 156 hours in a week, I've spent two full weeks of my life on this game....  man I need a life.
Good question and posts.  Any Final Fantasy game FF7 or greater for 2nd place in the hundreds of hours.
I would like to know how many total hours spent on all FF games.......  second thought no I dont want know.
