It breaks my heart when a game fits right in my favorite blend of genres is middling at best. I want this game to be good so badly.

I wish there was a way to get the guys to play the original NieR now. It seems like automata acted as a great primer for odors that bounced then off of the first game. All they had to say about the story and music are all amplified for me regarding the first game when contrasting it to the second.

I've been playing through the surge recently and was just thinking that it's not half bad. It's better than Lords but is still ropy compared to even Demon's Souls and especially compared to Bloodborne. If they make a game where the dodge feels good, I'll be shouting it from the rooftops.

I really, really wish somebody's dream game would be a re-imagining of Guardian Legend. That game could be so good.
