I am a 360 owner about to by a PS3, however it'll be my mum or dad who are visiting the US for thanksgiving who'll be making the purchase for me and I know they will need strict instructions as to where/what to buy ('coz they are stoopid)
 
In Ireland most retailers offer some sort of deal like 2 games and an extra controller for like €100 extra. Are there any US retailers doing anything similar. I am hoping to get my PS3 plus a controller and 2/3 (Uncharted 2 + R&C Future + AN OTHER) games for $400/$450. Any tips?

and just to make the point, NOT for Killzone and Resisitance (only above average and average respectively)

does anyone know if the collector's edition with the controller is coming out in the UK and Ireland. Most US retailers have it listed for pre-order on their sites!!

has anyone had the problem with the 360 version where your save games become corrupted and basically you have to start a new game!!
This has happened to me twice now around the 55% completion mark. And i just bought myself that flame thrower!

ya, he makes a good point, i'm not too sure where my killer app is comin this year. there are a lot of filler exclusives but nothing stand out. halo the way it is isnt a single player game, i'd like to see them change the pace to something similar to rainbow 6 vegas series seeing as its supposed to be more of a tactical shooter.
