I had all 3 Syphon Filters that came out for PSX and they were very good games for their generation. I don't think MGS fits entirely into that category, though.

I'd say MGS>Syphon Filter>Splinter Cell

The game wouldn't have gotten the exposure it deserved hadn't it been modded. It was a great game, and although it wasn't a Mario game, it was impeccable.

Guitar and Piano. Been playing for fifteen years now. I also do some electronic and sing.

Hardware is becoming more important because the number of exclusives is drastically reducing every year. Xbox had better hardware but the PS2 had a huge amount of important exclusives. Obviously, PS2 won, simply because it's still selling systems.

Sold mine a couple months ago. Can't say I regret it... so I'd say yes.

What I did was save at every possible location, to have relatively quick access to any cutscene I want to watch. Some of them are far from the checkpoint, but it's the best option, I think.

Just bands, or do solo acts count? If it's only bands, then Radiohead, Sigur Rös, DMB, The Mothers of Invention and spanish rock band Héroes del Silencio.
