the original was ambitious as hell for the time it came out and suffered some jank because of it, but was still up there with FF6 and CT, so its great to see that this finally got an official release overseas

the fact that the remake was able to solve the jank while still feeling like the original is also fantastic, it is clear that this was a labor of love

also, there IS something tying all the chapters together
