It's addictive isn't it?

My only gripe is that I search the boards to make sure my submission isn't already there, then I go submit something...it's in there for days...then someone else's submission for the same thing goes through meaning I know mine will now be rejected.

So how exactly does this work?

If two or more people submit the same thing, does it go in date order? Or is it just pot luck over who gets the points and who gets rejected?

Anyone with the knowledge to explain this, or have a similar gripe?

Interesting that you wrote that. I just wrote a blog entry on this very subject myself. Anyway, yeah that seems really frustrating, doesn't it?

But yeah it's frustrating. Im steering clear of submitting anything indepth for the time being because I really dont want to waste my time doing something big and having it rejected because 'lil john' has written a single paragraph and get's it accepted.

I'd hope the better content gets approved.  I wrote 5 pages for Killzone Liberation, but now that I look at the page there are 2 scentences.  I'd hope they choose to approve mine because it includes all that was written in those 2 scentences.

If you wrote something long, just because someone wrote something small and got it accepted before you we would still accept your submission if it was of better quality. (I'm a wiki mod)
