I don't disagree with the majority sentiment here about the naming fiasco and its implications (such as Dan initially wanting to keep the renamed sniper out of the next mission), but I thought the video remained enjoyable for the most part. The body double move with the rookie (thankfully NOT Brad after Vinny's intervention) was kind of hilarious. Dan praising SWERY to the skies and disregarding the advice of the "eggheads" toward the end was also pretty good.
Still, would definitely be nice for the Exquisite Corps to take the community feedback into account for the next XCOM run, whether it's Enemy Within or XCOM 2. I'm a fan of the general Exquisite Corps format overall -- the Ken Burns narration over the handoff briefings have been great.
I say next run because yeah... Dan left Abby in a pretty dire spot with the upcoming terror mission.
I cracked up over Vinny's reactions to Commander Ryckert's decisions. That was some serious "Foxhole Norman" mentality happening in the field. Though that was also some serious game BS happening when Vincenzo died despite being stabilized.
The last five minutes or so when the game's bugginess meets Vinny's indomitable spirit and willingness to push games to the breaking point is simply glorious.
