This could be a bit of a long shot I guess. I'm going on a cruise departing from Port Canaveral in September and I'm looking for transport from Orlando airport straight there. I've been having a Google this morning, and I can't seem to find any bus shuttles, only individual cars (Sedans being the cheapest ...) that will take us. I'm looking for a fairly economical way of doing this, so I then heard that hiring a car might be the best bet. However, I still fancy the bus option if it's available.
So, for the people who live/have travelled in the area, are there any bus shuttles that will take you directly from Orlando airport to Port Canaveral? Off the top of my head, I think the flight gets into Orlando at roughly 7pm at night. If not, is hiring a car really that much cheaper than using a car shuttle?
At the end of the cruise we also have a few days to spare before flying back to the UK, so I was just wondering if there is any particular parts of Florida you guys would recommend? We are wanting to save the theme parks for a holiday in a year's time, so we don't want to rush through those.
Are there any other 'must-see' things in the general Florida area that we would be able to do within those 3 days?
