  • Well worth the wait, this sequel to arguably the best RTS in history delivers on all fronts with near pitch-perfect balancing, a truly varied campaign, and an amazing mutli-player. The only game I've ever enjoyed watching as much as playing. This isn't a game, it's a sport.

  • Rockstar manages to best itself with this amazing look into the wild west. Great graphics, intense atmosphere, fun combat, and an engaging story with memorable characters come together to make this adventure an instant classic.

  • The only game where it feels like the decisions you make truly matter, Mass Effect 2 dramatically improves and streamlines its gameplay systems while keeping the great writing, voicework and story of the first. Each character feels deep and fleshed out, as well as the worlds you travel to, making each moment of this game feel unique.

  • While the single-player may not be the best on the market, multiplayer is where Bad Company 2 shines, with great vehicles, fun gunplay, amazing sound design, and an improved destructibility model to create an experience great enough to challenge any other FPS out there.

  • Somehow, Brotherhood manages to add even more depth and fun to the already amazing Assassin's Creed 2, with a smoother combat system, and a much more seamless storyline. Not only that, but the assassin on assassin multiplayer gives one of the most intense and rewording multiplayer experiences this year. And the fact that Ubisoft Montreal manages to put this together in only a year makes it all the more impressive.

  • Bungie's final foray into the Halo universe is one that is jam packed with every single feature a Halo fan would want. From a lengthy and intense single-player, to a multi-player that has been honed over multiple games to be as good as possible, top to bottom, Reach is a Halo fans dream come true, and a great end to one of the greatest FPS series' of all time.

  • The God of War series has always been the watermark for "epic", and God of War 3 is no exception. Keeping the amazingly smooth gameplay intact from previous iterations, God of War 3 adds jaw-dropping graphics, and an awe-inspiring sense of scale into the mix to create a fittingly epic end to the Ghost of Sparta's quest for vengeance.

  • A game that simply overflows with atmosphere, Limbo creates an experience that's unlike any other, with amazing graphics and challenging puzzles. A game that keeps players constantly on their toes, Limbo's dark and gruesome adventure will stick with you long after the credits roll.

  • This platformer delivers an extremely responsive feel in an extremely challenging, but rewording, game. The indie love that was put into this game shows, with a great cast of characters, each with their own unique play style. A game no one should miss, just make sure to bring some extra controllers!

  • Lead and Gold delivers an addicting multiplayer experience that combines the class system of Team Fortress 2 with the gunplay more akin to Call of Duty that is better than the sum of its parts. A little known gem that provides hours of fun, if you can find an active server...
