quelagg down. estus flasks +2 now. gear near huge dragon in drakeland pilfered. pyromancy glove upgraded 3 times to +7. three levels up i think. fed a bunch of junk to the weird creature at firelink. on the way to sen's fortress.
god damn those blow dart dudes. i'm battling blight town right now and most of my comments to friends start like many statement in here: fuck blight town. eff this. eff that.
if you've played 5 hours and there aren't things clicking for you it's probably just not for you. just like i don't get sim racers. just doesn't click for me. if you stick with it you'll be in and out of undead burg and all kinds of other areas discovering bosses and npcs and shortcuts. i would say, though, that 5 hours is probably enough to know it's not for you.
my battle axe is apparently broken. i can't equip it anymore. i'm left with a broken sword hilt. takes forever to kill anything. heaven help me if there is more than one mob and they have shields (argh!). i don't remember getting a warning about the weapon breaking but i very well could have missed that. i understand weapon repair comes later with certain items and npcs. anyone confirm that the expectation is to tough it out with the hilt and battle skills until i can repair?
i've seen other forums that said use your best weapons on bosses and larger enemies, but not on common trash. must've been where i screwed up.
buddy of mine has the same issue. he ordered the CE as well. he emailed amazon. here's what they said:
