Am I crazy or has the "photo" of Earth in the Moon skybox been flopped? I can think of an orientation where Cuba could appear west of Florida and be in the northern hemisphere.
The assembly side of these seems neat in a bunch of ways which I could appreciate, but the core combat seems to hit all the things I consider weakest about games which continue to do well in Japan - the tiny modular levels of Monster Hunter/Zelda, the enemy span Dynasty Warriors, a real clustered mess of controls, and just a general lack of cohesion to the level design.
Finally, what is the point of the Monolith missions if you still need to clear all the enemies in the room anyway...
@gongzero: Yup, sure appears to be the case. As a guess they're the legs from the Rozen Zulu, which is from one of the more modern series.
They held it off a for a good few years, but Gundam ended up realising that you could do whatever you wanted with leg designs when most of the suits spent their time flying anyway.
I'm glad Austin gave Flotilla a shout out, because I was definitely seeing shades of it here too. This seems neat, but the space-dogfight scene is relatively crowded at the moment I wonder how it'll do.
Brad responded to a Tweet which crystalized this video for me, despite all the misses and fumbles I'd be A-Okay with watching them run this mission again with foreknowledge if it allowed them a chance at a executing the events well.
After all that's what Breaking Brads like Mile High or Volgar were about, being forced to get under the skin of the game mechanically, to reach a certain level of competence. Hitman, by being so lenient, isn't able to deliver on that aspect of why I enjoyed those features.
I'm here just as much to see what a game can offer as I am to hear the gangs interactions.
