Funny how I have read this everywhere, and it applies to anyone outside of high school. It could apply to those in school, but when I was attending high school or earlier, I had loads of time to game. Video games, D&D, or Magic the Gathering were my choices through school. Now that I have money a home, family, and whatever else, there is no time. The day becomes dedicated to your job while away, and then the responsibilities of family, and home when you leave your job. I want times to stay the way they are, but an added 2-4 hours in a day would be benficial. It would allow me to do what I want to do. If there were 26-28 hours in a day instead of 24, those 2 hours should be used for personal time only. If you want to ignore everyone around you, and just game then that would allow it.

Imagine a little extra freedom, a little extra time to just yourself. I'm not saying you would have to game, but being here on a site like this, and not getting paid to test games, or whatever, I think everyone would agree that this is what that extra time would go to. Sure maybe once in a while it might go to something else, but we all know that others get enough of our time. We need to wind down a little more, and just take it easy. So this weekend, I want to take the time, and play some pinball, Tony Hawk HD, and advance a lot more in Dragon's Dogma. Do I think this will happen? Yes is my answer, do I think it will be a 4 hour gaming uninterupted session like I want? No.

It's usually because of me that there is no 4 hour uninterupted session though. I see my wife working in the house I offer to help, my son is playing, and gets upset, or hungry or something, I have to do something about that. I am not sure if I'm alone in this, but we all feel that we must make others happy in order to be "happy" ourselves. I just want time maybe alone so I don't see the family for a couple of hours, and that will allow me to not sabotage my time in game, that will allow me to do what I want when I want. Maybe it's time for a little send the family away with other family, and stay home, because I am not feeling good. Maybe I'm getting sick "cough cough". Please leave before you all catch what I have. Unless you also need a little time to yourselves :)

I have been conceptualizing a lot of different weapons, and wondering what they would be like in real life. So after finding a really neat book this last week I decided that it looks pretty easy to do. I have the plans for a few steampunk guns I have been looking at, and designed myself so I figured why not see what I can do, and make one up. I have been a closet Steampunker for about 5-6 years now, and even have quite a few items in the house.

Are there any other steampunks out there willing to talk about what they have been doing, or what they are into. My passion is video games first, and for most, but I love the Steampunk ones the most. I'm looking forward to Dishonored this fall, and can't wait.

I have been playing the Xbox 360 version. It's the system I play the most. I almost picked this up for the PS3 though. It was a tough find when I was going for the game.

I'm just glad it's not Unreal Tournament 4, or something cheesy like that.

I will be playing, and watching what my son will be doing as he grows up. I watched "R" rated movies starting at around 8-10 (Robocop was so damn disturbing) but I knew what the difference was. I was educated, and my son will also be educated in this structure.

I read an article last year about a father allowing his son (4) to play GTA IV. The son started driving the car, stopping at lights, and obeying the rules of the road. He never knew he could pull out a gun, and shoot others, or do bad things in the game without consequences. He was upset when he got into an accident with another car even. The father said it's okay it's just a game, keep trying what you are doing. No missions of killing, or dating or anything just running around, and having fun in the game. If the kid knows what GTA IV is like at an older age with the violence then it will be harder to keep it from him, Teach the difference between real, and fictional, I think they will turn out just fine in life.

One more thing is my kid won't play COD, or Battlefield, or a sports game at our home. These games dad won't own so he will have a hard time getting his hands on them. Even with his own money I will be steering clear of these games.

So here I have been for the last 3 days trying to figure out what I can do with my time at work. Well says I since I can not complete anything for the week I might as well use some of the time to check out a few sites. This one has come up a few times, and thought why the hell not. Here I am. Sure I'm not well known on the internet, and I try my hardest to keep a personal picture of myself off anything on the internet, face really is the only thing.

Now for something a little more recent. I started to play Dragon's Dogma about 2 weeks ago now, and am enjoying the hell out of it. At least until I discovered that I just had several quests cancelled after progressing too far in the story. So I restarted the game 2 nights ago, and I discovered a few things (more like the whole fishing village you start at) I was missing my first play. Now I have really started making a difference in the game. It's a little easier as I'm used to the combat, and know what, and how to do a lot more things. Now I just need to find more time to play. 11pm till 1am is very tiring, and I know I need more sleep. Maybe tomorrow, I will be able to get more time with this game, and end up close to where I was when I had to restart. I really just want to finish the quests I missed the first time through, and end up back there.

If you are into Dragon's Dogma, and need another friend or are starting out please add me, or just look for my pawn: Rehteah. It would be a good help, and always appreciated.
