Damn Japanese Games eating my life away...

So, I'm on my off term for university, so you know what that means. GAMES. Giantbomb is a website, about video games, so I thought I should write about it here. Makes sense, right?

Anyways, I've recently stuck my head into a Japanese game, and boy have I spent alot of time on it. This game never saw a release in North America (well, if you exclude arcades here (of which there are VERY FEW of)) for very obvious reasons I suppose, but I've been spending more time with it than I have most other games. I guess I've clocked around 20-25 hours so far, and no signs of slowing. Also, this isn't even a goddamn J-RPG. It's an action game. Guess what it is yet? no?
Gundam SEED Destiny: Rengou VS Zaft II

I don't know what it is, but this game has got me hooked (enough to make me edit the page for it even). Granted, I am a fan of Gundam, I have several models, so I'm obviously biased, but this game, is pretty good, and solid action-fighting game. I'm not gonna get into details (read the page if you want to know more about it!), but I've poured more hours into this game than I have most other ones.
Also made me think, the Japanese like to spend alottttt of time on games, don't they. If it's a RPG, it'll take an eternity. If it's something else, they make the replayability of it very appealing. Final Fantasy takes FOREVER to finish, while North American games take around the usual 7-16 hours. May be just me, but the Japanese sure like to drudge through their games. How many of you go back to replay North American games, and how many hours have you spent on one game?
