I thought I should dedicate this first blog entry to the guys working painstakingly at making this site what it is... and what they made is, as the kids say, full of win.  So thanks to Jeff, Ryan, Vinny, Brad, the guys at Whiskey Media, Luchadeer, and the vast army of monkeys that type all day to bring the biggest thing to happen to the internet since Al Gore invented it in 1969.  I salute you.

Alright, enough pandering... onto some boring, pointless shit.

I've traveled around the site now for about an hour and I must say it's actually bigger than I had anticipated... but I guess if the site is called Giant Bomb, it should live up to its, uh, giantness, right?  And even though giantness isn't technically a word, that's how I would describe this new playground for geeks and otakus.  I'm a bit excited to see the amount of stuff here and the potential for even more stuff in the future.

Well, now that I've put in my 2 cents here, time to break out the sledgehammer and start swinging it wildly at random people and woodland creatures.
