2020 - Nervous and/or exciting.

This coming year could be one of gamings biggest! Playstation and Xbox are scheduled to release new consoles & Stadia should release outside of the founders' pack. On top of that, its the swansong year of the current crop of consoles. At the end of the last set of consoles in 2013, we got, DMC, Ni No Kuni, Tomb Raider, Bioshock Infinite, Brothers: A Tale Of Two Sons, Saints Row IV, GTA V, Splinter Cell Blacklist, The Last Of Us AND the release of the Ouya. That's a lot. Don't forget, Nintendo also need a bumper year as to not get the runaway success of the Switch lost.

However, when you are looking at the upcoming games with actually confirmed dates it's rather short. Every other title is completely up in the air! Whether that leads to exciting times or nervous times, well that depends on your disposition. Either way, here are some games that I want to play, ones with release dates attached anyway.

  • I know literally nothing about KRZ. Back when episode one came out back in 2013, PC gaming friends told me I absolutely have to play it. My retort was I absolutely do not have a PC for it to run on. Those players told me nothing as not to spoil the journey the games takes you on.

    Now, as the game come to consoles, I get to join in with the fun. It better be good after all this time...

  • 3 Statements of fact.

    1. When I was 10, I loved theme hospital.

    2. Two Point Hospital is releasing on Nintendo Switch.

    3. I have a new longer commute coming up.

  • Me and Animal Crossing never really hit it off in the past. I played the one on the 3DS, but when I wanted a 4-hour session, I ran out of things to do that day but around an hour in. I picked up a Wii and Animal Crossing for an ex-significant other a couple of years ago but ended up confused at why she spent all her time picking up shells rather than getting ready for our dinner reservations. Probably a reason shes an ex.

    Now, just like with what I was saying about Two Point Hospital, I've got a new loner commute starting just before New Horizons comes out. Surely that has to be a match made in heaven.
