I'm totally fine with them using the same engine with minor tweaks to deliver another epic adventure in this short of a time frame. That being said, I think it has to end here. The next full game that comes out in the series needs to have the engine updated and really 'feel' like a new game. 

I heard about it several months ago, but after the news came out of the Live price hike I hadn't heard anything else about it. If I recall correctly, it was $100 a year for four accounts. That would rock but with the price increase I can't see that still being in play at $100.

I'm all about teh Fallouts. Bought Fallout 3 when it released, tried it, hated it, and it sat on my shelf for several months. I finally gave it another chance during a dearth of game releases and it ended up being my personal GotY.  
 
I cannot wait for New Vegas! Just wish Fable 3 didn't come out the following week. I envision Fable being my XBOXmas vacation title if I can save enough PTO for the holidaze....

I'm getting both Fallout New Vegas and Fable 3. My rational side sez to play Fable first since it'll likely not last as long as Fallout. My problem is that theres no freaking way I can force myself NOT to play teh Fallouts as it sits on my desk mocking me for a week. I'm to weak.

My launch unit has been sent in four times. Handed it down to my daughter and bought a 60Gb unit last fall. Knock on wood, this one seems to be holding up....
