Assuming you only have a wii? Mod Nation Racers is awesome choice.

I'd say Lego games ANY of them, I don't know what it is about them. My ex is an MD resident working 80 hours a week, doesn't ever play video games, yet for some reason those hooked her and she found time to play them. I'd say that's a good endorsement.

At least you have one of the two." Having no time or money" - Life as a graduate student. Can't complain though I get more satisfaction than most games. Makes you value each game more, like a kid!

How God of War 3 didn't even get mentioned that year for best visuals is beyond me...

The bombcast has a way of getting rid of certain games like they don't exist though. They talk about Saint's Row like it's the 2nd coming of christ however... go figure.

Just a suggestion, not sure if anyone will notice... but I stumbled on the QL of the XBLA Indie games. They ran through 16 games, but it's like 2 years old. I'd love to see an update to this, it was funny and interesting since they only spent a few minutes on each one... Good variety.

Yes like that, or just that many games are more like movies today and better than most movies IMHO.

So with no context, anyone have a cutscene or moment to show a non gamer that games are like interactive and watchable movies and other works of fiction? I'm arguing with someone who hasn't really done or seen a game since the SNES era, that games are more now. Sure they still are fun, but we now have games like Uncharted or Mass Effect that evoke emotions of a movie.

So no context, any idea a short scene that would show this to someone?

Anyone else feel the same? It keeps growing on me... I love RPG's but no Bioware or other game really made me feel emotionally what parts of this game did. I literally sat the controller down at the end choice for a few minutes wondering.

It amazes me this game was made by just a handful of people. More $15 Download games like this and less $60 *Insert generic shooter*. Please!

Yah I know everyone can see those... but I'm glad I paid money to the people who made those. Brave guys Bravo.

Sidenote: Jeff's evil diabolical character needs to make a quicklook.

I'm glad to see this spurred so much discussion. I was a little shocked when I got back and saw over 100 replies!

So I finished Alpha Protocol, and based on this thread I picked up a few cheap games that people seemed to really love. Hopefully I like these bad games just as much!

So any bad games you just happen to love? I'm currently replaying Alpha Protocol, yah I thought WTF I didn't even pick up Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Gears 3, etc yet... but with all the bugs and flaws the story and setting just hit me where I want. (PLEASE BIOWARE, make a modern RPG with a spy setting!)

So what bad games do you love and hide in secret so other games won't laugh at you?

Note: I mean truly buggy, bad design, etc games... Saying Mass Effect 2, Modern Warefare, Zelda, Battlefield, Uncharted, etc are "bad" games because you don't like them doesn't make sense, big difference.
