DevWil: Best of 2009
I'm only including games I've spent considerable time with. I'm sure there are games I would have put on this list if I'd played them. However, many of those titles I'm saving for Summer 2010, when I'll have a lot of free time.
Best single-player experience I had in 2009.
Not a perfect sequel, but probably the best skateboarding game ever released.
It's so hard to dislike this game.
Somewhat disappointing as a follow-up to last year's title, but still the best hockey title available on consoles.
The Wii version is a strong contender for best golf game ever.
Uses the Wii in a very fun way.
Gory fun.
Solid Battlefield port/update.
I hesitate to put this on the list, but I'm doing it just to flesh it out to 10. This game is such a disappointment, but I think it's probably the 10th best game I played in 2009 (that was released in 2009).
