This is a game I don't think anyone in their right mind would play if not cheered on by friends and community. I have such little tolerance for the crap this game pulls with knowing to do random thing X in location Y. Hopefully, MG2 is a bit more polished and leaves behind the Castlevania 2 nonsense. That said, this series is a blast and I'm glad the crew is soldering through a game I would otherwise never see for myself. Yet, I echo Abby's disgust at the game's absolute crap it pulls. To be fair, Legend of Zelda is no less cryptic (and I'm not a fan because of this).
when i played these a few years ago i hated them both but i found MG2 to be worse when it came to esoteric time wasting puzzle design. i remember getting upset about chocolate rations and an owl and an egg
not sure about the WWE being forward-thinking about CTE and concussions. remember a year or two ago where they had brock beat open randy orton's head with his elbows? which, shocker, gave him a concussion. seems like it's probably a pr thing where they just talk a big game. same with HGH and steroids. exceptions to every rule in that company
