Gotcha Force for the Gamecube. It's a light version of Virtual On's combat combined with the Pokemon collecting but for what are mostly little capsule toys. I spent entire summers as a kid playing and grinding through this game. First time in my life I ever had my heart broken by a corrupted save file. Would 100% percent play this game right now if I had a Gamecube handy.

Glad to see one of your posts seem to blow up more. Might still pick this game up since it keeps going on sale for a couple of dollars on switch. Honestly expected it to be a lot worse.

@clagnaught: There are two skills in each class that can be used regardless of class once you unlock them. You can tell which skills they are because the circle next to them on the class select screen will be a little more red then the others (it is really hard to see on my tv, but I can tell the difference after scrolling through a couple times). I've switched classes in order to get a certain skill on a certain character, such as getting all three elemental types on Nanba or getting a defensive buff on Ichi. You can also wait to do this until later in the game if you want. I didn't start doing it until Chapter 11ish and a character would level up their jobs extremely fast.

Even though each class goes up to level 99, the game considers a class complete at level 30 (two different achievements related to maxing out classes that unlock around level 30 or 35) since you don't unlock anymore usable skills. Not sure if this is their way of saying that it is diminishing returns, but it's something to keep in mind. Also there are Part Time Hero missions related to defeating enemies with Ichiban in certain classes. I personally just switched him to a different class while doing side stories, and then switched him back to Hero before doing a main quest.

Also make sure you switch someone to the Idol class.

It's already been a long week here in Louisville. I think a lot of us knew deep down that this would be the result, and now we are finally here. It started on Monday when the LMPD started barricading a section of downtown (the blocks surrounding the park that have been the central location of protests for 120 days now). The city was on edge bracing for the inevitable. Today has been a mix of anger and disgust. I'm angry that so many people around me refuse to notice the discrimination and segregation that exists in this city.

I'm angry that so many people dismiss all the protesters displaying their pain and anguish every single day with comments like "they should get a job" or "stop the welfare checks and the shooting stops". I'm angry that a LMPD officer sent an email throughout her office saying protesters "are the people that wash our cars and check us out at Wal Mart."

I'm disgusted by the posts people in my life have made on Facebook, happy this drama is finally over so they can feel safe again. I'm disgusted by my family wanting to make this about them and claim they are the real victims. I'm disgusted by all the people who love Kentucky basketball, but refuse to listen when those very players tell them that they are hurting and instead they should be grateful they can't to play sports in our state.

I grew up outside of the city, but started my first full time position after college working in the heart of Downtown this past January. I have truly fallen in love with Louisville, which is why it is so hard to see it continue to turn it's back on those in need and pain. Their are so many great people here and I just hope that something changes instead of the divide that seems to keep growing.

Sorry if this seems like rambling, I just wanted to be able to express how I'm feeling. So many people around me refuse to listen to me say anything opposing our current police environment.

It hasn't fully released yet, but I've been looking forward to She Dreams Elsewhere. It will launch on Xbox Game Pass and there is a demo on itch.io (maybe steam to, I'm not 100% for sure).

I live in the middle of Louisville, where we've seen a spike in cases over the past two weeks. A mandatory mask order for any place inside was put in place about two weeks ago. I work in the heart of downtown and mostly everyone I see is wearing a mask or has it around their neck in case they get near people, the main exceptions being teens and joggers.

My experiences outside of the city and directly surrounding areas, and have been a little different. A lot of people I played football with in high school that live in a neighboring county post noting but anti-mask memes and conspiracy theories on Facebook. I went to visit my parents who live just 20 minutes away from me, and it was like a different world with barely any masks in sight. They had me pick up a pizza and only one person had a mask out of the 10 or so people in the place.

It's hard to see it getting any better here soon with both our state fair and the Kentucky Derby coming up.
