What's up duders!

So I've been listening to the cavalcade of Metal Gear talk on the site for the last little while, I've seen the first two... Seasons?... of Metal Gear Scanlon and started the newer one more out of interest in the newer game over 3 and 4. MGSV looks like a really fun game. But up here in Canadia it costs $75, and that's a hell of a lot of money to spend on a Metal Gear game when I've never played any of them before.

Now, I've been hearing Dan and Jeff talk about some of the scummy things that are being done to the game. Especially on this week's Bombcast. If I wait for the price to drop or a Steam sale is the game going to be micro-transactioned to an unplayable state? (Hyperbole and opinion warnings Batman!) Should I bite the bullet and pay for it now?

Some people said it would never happen. But here we are.

I can't be the only duder that likes flying me some fancy spaceships, even if I rarely venture out of solo play.

Fellow teachers unite. Or future teachers I guess. I'm about to start teachers college in the fall and I'd like to be able to do something with gaming in the classroom at some point.
