Well sadly this is why Giant Bomb is loosing all its appeal for me. This sort of content was never why I would come to this site, if this is the latest offering then another reason for me not to re-sub. I'm out.
Unfortunately nothing announced here is really floating my boat. I don't know Jeff Grub, industry news is not really my thing. I like Danny and Tamoor but Souls games I just don't get. I like Danny's interview style but again old games are just old games to me, nothing special. I appreciate that GB feels it has to move on but I feel it is moving away from the things that I enjoyed about the site which makes me sad. I will keep in touch, for how long I don't know, we all have to move on I suppose.
Both series of Look Around You are great. The first is a parody of BBC for Schools and Colleges. The second was based on Tomorrow's World, it does a great job of capturing both of these.
Came here to say this. I remember the Janny wheeling in the big TV and Video on a stand and watching School programs like this all the time in the late 70-80's it was a magical time. I also think it was an excuse for the Teacher to go into the class supply cupboard and have a cup of tea and a fag.
I had a Master System, GameGear and a Megadrive (Genesis) and managed to sell them all for a PS1 and TBH I have no regrets. The PlayStation was just the the dogs during the early 90's and was so glad i never went down the Dreamcast route. From that I had a PS2 and that changed gaming for me, even now my console of chose will always be PlayStation over Microsoft but the 360 was a damn good platform and the deals they have on the PC now is good but i will always defer to Sony for my consoles.
