Man...this is a huge bummer. This place wont be the same without you Dan. But I don't want to be selfish, you seemed to genuinely love this job, so if you're leaving, it must be for something really special, so I'm happy for you. You will definitely be missed though.
@benpack: maybe I misread it, it just seemed like you weren't into any of the games besides the Physcho Soldier song. Again, if I misread it, I apologize, just the impression I got. I have a lot of nostalgia for a lot of these games, and I've seen a lot of negativity for the games in this collection on other sites. Guess I'm a bit touchy!
@shagge: yeah, multiple versions are great. Objectively games like POW and Ikari Warriors were much better in the arcade, but I played the hell out of both of them on the NES, so the noatalgia is there and it's nice to have the choice.
@vampire_chibi: there are 11 more games coming for free on December 11th. 24 games, less than 2 bucks each. I do agree that this collection sure isn't for everyone, but I think it's a reasonable price. I have a lot of nostalgia for a number of the games included.
Ben was really getting on my nerves here. He should not be involved in old game discussions, they're clearly not for him. Jeff and Brad would have made for a better QL. I miss Ryan at times like this too, feel like he would have loved this collection.
I love Vinny, but watching him play this kind of game can be a bit painful. He just loves to poke and prod at things to see how they break lol. Fun for a bit but personally gets a bit old for me to watch for long periods. Still, Vinny is just the best, don't want to sound too negative!
