@ripelivejam: For the serious Gunpla or just serious model builders cleaning the plastics before hand is a good step to assure you get a nice clean surface prior to painting or applying the decals. I mean once those pieces are popped out of the molds in the factory they're usually just slapped into a bag and into a box so any dust or left over residue used in the injection molding process are left on.
I'm guessing it's me, but Drew's pupils seemed awfully big for his excited face about for Formula-E stuff. Reminds me of a cat that just got excited about some string.
