Being EA they'll shut down the servers 2 years later making all of your saves and the game obsolete because Sim City duo (or some gay name like that) has come out.

Have they actually done this? While I haven't played a proper Maxis game since Spore, I'm curious if that's something they actually did since IIRC the saves were in the cloud.

I actually bought my Wii U because of ZombiU. Sadly, I've yet to continue playing that game, or any game on my Wii U...

But yes, typically first party games are what makes me buy my consoles.

I pretty much bought a 360 for Oblivion since my computer STILL can't run it.

Yeah, I still have the same computer.

This is actually when I decided to go full on as a console gamer... but unlike you, that computer has long since died xD

You know what would be hilarious? If THQ brought in the 38 studio's team.

Funny, considering 38 Studios bought Big Huge Games from them xD

I heart the pic of Jason Rubin. It's as though he's saying, "Wait. I'M running THQ?"

I had the 3rd generation Kindle that I just gave to a friend a few weekends ago. I really enjoyed using it, but I upgraded to the new iPad.

I also bought an iPad whenever the new one came out but don't think it replaces the Kindle. The lack of glare on that thing is great, I only find reading books on the iPad screen acceptable when you can switch it to white on black, but of course that's kind of hard to do unless you're in a dimly lit room. (glare galore)

I mostly use my iPad for reading in low light situations like in my bedroom and in the living room with the lights dimmed, so I don't have a problem with having to deal with high amounts of glare while reading. But you're definitely correct that e-Ink's definitely more suitable in all types of reading environments. I just wish the technology advanced enough to support color :(

I don't know why, but I keep hitting the bomb button inadvertently >_>!

I think it's interesting to see some of my friends' interpretations of some of the words they have to convey to me. The only "bad" clue I got while I've been playing actually happened last night when one of my co-workers just pretty much blatantly wrote "The color of an eraser." -_- I guess it's tough to draw a pencil and point at the eraser at the end ;)

Other than that, I like the game a lot and it's been distracting me from playing my other games *leers at Silent Hill: Downpour*. If any of you want to play, my username on there is eternityinblack.

Hey y'alls!

I'm Alex and I've been a fan of Jeff and Co. since the early days of game journalism. I actually signed up for this account back in 2008, but didn't really frequent the site until recently. Since then I've been lurking around in the forums and have been listening to the podcast for quite a while until I finally decided that I should drop $50 bucks on a subscription to further support the site.

I have credits on a few games as a QA tester and I did this during the PS2 and the PS3/Wii launch for Activision. I've been playing video games ever since the Nintendo FamiCom with the first ever games I've played being Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! and Exerion by Jaleco. My grandmother owned an arcade back in the day with a bunch of those table top coin-op arcades and had a betamax when I was a kid, so you can pretty much tell that being a technophile is in my blood.

I'm a big fan of action/adventure games and I consider video games as my primary form of entertainment. Other than that, I like movies, comics, anime, manga, and host a podcast with my friend Anthony called Gamer Horizon. I'm also a fan of going to theme parks since I live in Los Angeles, so when I want a break from games I usually can be found in Disneyland or Universal Studios hanging out with friends there!

I'm probably going to get killed for this, but I didn't pick up Demon Souls and Dark Souls at launch. So yesterday, when I was picking up dinner, I swung by the local GameStop and picked up Dark Souls and ordered Demon Souls on Amazon via my iPhone since GameStop had a gutted copy of it without the cover :/
